Spirulina can be tricky to mask, but this smoothie does more than just mask it, it tastes so good. Spirulina is a superfood packed with iron, Vitamin B, protein and more, and it can transform a green smoothie into a super smoothie bowl! Top it with whatever you think works – i love granola, kiwi, berries and sliced coconut 😍

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 frozen medium bananas
  • 3 tbsp. frozen cubed mango
  • 1 tsp. spirulina powder
  • 1 tbsp. ground flax seed
  • 1 date (pit removed)
  • 2 tbsp. dessicated coconut
  • 3/4 c plant-based milk

Instructions

  1. Put everything in a blender and blend. Add more water if its too thick or an ice cube if its too thin!
  2. Top the bowl with whatever tickles your fancy. The garnish is a good opportunity to pack in more antioxidants & texture, so think goji berries, nuts, kiwi, seeds etc.!
